History and International Success

I CAN READ was founded in 2000 by educational psychologists Antony Earnshaw and Annabel Seargeant who developed the system based on 15 years of researching how children learn to read. It is structured, cumulative and hierarchical, and is the first system in the world to link clusters of letters to single sounds in a unique manner. During I Can Read's 16-year history, over 170,000 students have successfully completed the I Can Read courses.

Complete Literacy Courses

I Can Read offers a full range of English Literacy courses for students aged 2.5 -12 years old. Through these scientifically designed courses students develop their English linguistic abilities in a natural way, similar to the manner in which we learn our first language. This style of learning has proven to be highly effective.

I Can Read   What are the types of Franchise Models Available?

Single Unit Franchise

Where the franchisor grants to the franchisee the right to operate one centre using the franchisor’s trade name, service marks, and operating system. The relationship is directly between the franchisor and a franchisee who generally but not always will be the operator of the location.

Multi-Unit / Area Franchise

Where the franchisor grants the franchisee the right to open an agreed number of centres, at a determined area or territory, and where the franchisee may hire managers to run the franchises.

Master Franchise

Where the Franchisor hands over the control of the franchising activities in a specified territory or Country to a person or entity, called the ‘Master Franchisee’.
