Must possess in-depth knowledge of the local market, be well connected in the community, and staff restaurants with the expertise to ensure good execution of Denny's operating systems. DFO, LLC is the franchisor. Denny's restaurants are full-service, family-style establishments that offer and serve a wide variety of food. Denny's restaurants offer a casual dining atmosphere and moderately priced food designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of customers.
Franchise applicants must complete a two-day (16-hour) Denny's Company Restaurant Operation Preview.
Franchisees do not receive any exclusive territory or territorial rights under the Franchise Agreement.
The franchisor requires that at least one person signing the Franchise Agreement be personally involved in the direct operation of the Denny's restaurant.
The length of the franchise term is 20 years or less, according to the lease term. There is no option to renew.
The franchisor is not obligated, but occasionally provides financing for the purchase of point-of-sale systems and other items entered into the Denny's system.
